You may try to prevent and treat bruises by using the following tips:



1 Mix starch and water until it forms a paste. Placing it on the bruise or site of injury it will prevent the skin from coloring.
2 To block a bruise from forming when it is yellow or where you have recently injured yourself, immediately spread butter on it.
3 Spread Zam-buck ointment thick at the bruise and cover it with a cloth.
4 Crush 3 slices of ginger and half a white onion. Add two tablespoons coarse flour, and 2 tablespoons of brandy to make a paste. Put the mixture on the bruise.
5 You can also put raw meat on bruises.
6 Soak a swab in vinegar and place it on the bruise. Leave it on the bruise for about an hour.
